Microbac's Massachusetts Division Earns ISO 17025 Accreditation for Biological Testing on Food Products

Worcester, MA - The Microbac Laboratories, Inc., Massachusetts Division laboratory has earned ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for Biological Testing on food products through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). The laboratory met the requirements for ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation after a thorough evaluation, which included an assessment of the laboratory's compliance with A2LA's Food Testing Program Requirements.

The A2LA accreditation certifies the laboratory to perform the following tests on food products: Aerobic Plate Count; Total Coliform; Escherichia coli; Yeast & Mold; Listeria; Staphylococcus aureus; and Salmonella.

The ISO 17025 accreditation reinforces Microbac's commitment to maintain comprehensive quality systems and test procedures, and is a result of the full commitment, strong work ethic, and dedication of Microbac’s Massachusetts Division.
