Technology Showcase
- What's Ahead?
September 19,
2012
9:00AM- 11:45 AM
Pennsylvania
Convention Center, Philadelphia, PA
The Marcellus
Shale Coalition's Research Collaborative is sponsoring a Technology Showcase
forum as a pre-conference event prior to the SHALE GAS INSIGHT™ conference in
Philadelphia, to provide suppliers of emerging technologies an opportunity to
showcase their technology to the natural gas producer, midstream pipeline, and
service community. The pre-conference Technology Showcase will be on September
19, 2012, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM.
The Research Collaborative is seeking applications from technology providers that are interested in presenting to the natural gas community technologies that are ready for "field test." The technology should be ready for pilot testing, slip stream or full scale at a natural gas drilling site in the Marcellus shale, Utica shale, or at a coal-bed methane or coal-mine methane site.
The Technology Showcase will be operated much like a venture capital fair. Each selected technology provider will be given 8 minutes to present their technology to a gas industry audience followed by 2 minutes of Q&A. To protect technology provider's intellectual property, we ask that only non-confidential information be presented.
To be considered for presentation, the attached application must be completed and submitted to the email address listed on the application by the deadline of June 29, 2012. A selection committee of Marcellus Shale Coalition Research Collaborative members will review the applications, select up to twelve applications for presentation, and notify the selected presenters.
The selected presenters will be asked to provide an advance copy of their presentation materials to the Research Collaborative for review. Presenters should plan on being available for presentation during the morning of September 19. By September 4, a detailed event schedule will be provided.
We look forward to receiving your application. Below are the relevant deadlines:
