Free Sustainability Seminar Being Offered in Stroudsburg
The Pocono Northeast Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council, a non-profit organization committed to the preservation and protection of natural resources within a framework of economic growth, announced today that a free seminar on sustainability will be offered at the Monroe County Public Safety Center in Stroudsburg on April 12 at 10 AM. The seminar is being presented by Green Field Energy Solutions and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance.
The seminar will provide an overview of energy conservation and renewable energy options, practical energy efficiency facts, and suggestions to reduce your operational costs and environmental impact. Learn more about energy auditing, weatherization, and renewable energy such as solar PV and wind technologies. Representatives from commercial, residential, government, and nonprofits are welcome. The seminar will also highlight loan programs, rebates and grants to implement feasible projects that reduce energy demand and maintenance, and improve facility and office functionality.
