No Bull Ranch
We are expanding and offering new options at No Bull Ranch!
No Bull Ranch is a family-owned farm in eastern Pennsylvania. We raise Black
Angus cattle and Certified Berkshire hogs the old fashioned way to provide superior pasture-raised beef and pork.
What makes No Bull Ranch Black Angus beef and Berkshire pork superior? It is our commitment to quality. From birth to market, we dedicated to the welfare of our animals and to the health of the land. All of our animals thrive in a natural and calm environment. For most of the year, our Black Angus cattle and Berkshire pigs graze on grass. In colder months, they continue to forage, but they also receive hay.
Our cattle and pigs are not force-fattened on grain. We NEVER use growth hormones, chemical additives, steroids, animal by-products, pesticides, herbicides, or commercial fertilizers. Animals raised in this natural environment produce tender, delicious meat that is lower in fat than the commercial varieties, while being high in protein and nutritional value.
To ensure that our meat maintains its best flavor, it is carefully processed at a local USDA-certified butcher. It is inspected, aged and custom cut, vacuum packaged, and flash frozen so that it arrives at your table with its maximum freshness. It easily keeps for a year.
You have several options when purchasing our meats. We sell most of our beef by the whole, half, or quarter, and we sell our pork by the whole or half. Looking for a smaller quantity? Multi-season CSA packages and various sampler packs are available.
No Bull Ranch is now at the South Scranton Farmers’ Market
each Saturday through October 4th! Come out to see us, place
an order, or pick-up your CSA share. Starting July 12th we
will offer pork by the cut! The South Scranton Farmers’ Market is open
between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and is located at the Scranton Iron Furnaces on
Cedar Avenue, Scranton.
We will be sending hogs to the butcher this week. We
have 1 hog available to order by the whole or half. Send us an email if
you are interested.
Not enough freezer space for bulk quantities? Try our
CSA. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. We sell
“shares” in our monthly harvest. We now have space in our pork CSA.
Purchase a whole share and receive 20 pounds of pork per month or a half share
offers 10 pounds of pork per month. For more information, send us an
email or stop by our stand.
Forgot to stop at the ATM? Spent all your cash at the other
stands? Ordering online? No problem! We are now accepting
credit cards!
We have been working hard to improve our operations and
become more accessible. Have any ideas? Send us an email – we like
to hear from you.
